CPN-UML holding Secretariat meeting today



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its Secretariat today.

The party has called the meeting after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal prevented Foreign Minister Bimala Rai Paudyal from going to Geneva.

UML Central Office Secretary Bhishma Adhikari said that the meeting will also discuss the latest political developments and the presidential elections.

The party will also discuss whether or not the party would leave the government.

The CPN-UML has nominated party Vice Chairman Subash Chandra Nemwang as its presidential candidate.

The presidential election will be held on March 9.
