HoR election: 125,766 voters registered in Bhojpur



BHOJPUR: A total of 125,766 voters have been registered in the eastern hilly district of Bhojpur for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5, 2026.

The number of voters has increased compared to the previous election, when the district had 123,379 registered voters. This year, an additional 2,387 voters have been added following the voter list update conducted by the Election Commission.

District Election Office Chief Dikendra Subedi said that among the registered voters, 65,788 are male, 59,977 are female, and one voter is listed under the “other” category.

The District Election Office has also released municipality-wise voter statistics. Bhojpur district comprises two municipalities and seven rural municipalities. According to the data, Bhojpur Municipality has 20,189 voters, while Shadananda Municipality has 21,896 voters.

Arun Rural Municipality has 12,643 voters, Amchowk Rural Municipality 12,444, Pauwadungma Rural Municipality 10,663, and Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality 13,557.

Similarly, Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality has 11,900 voters, Salpasilicho Rural Municipality 8,724 voters, and Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality 13,750 voters.

Chief Subedi also said that the District Election Office has begun making the necessary preparations for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
