As a non-citizen, I have nothing left to say: Rabi Lamichhane

I accept Supreme Court’s decision, says Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: Emerging out of the Ministry of Home Affairs after the Supreme Court (SC) revoked his Nepali citizenship, Rabi Lamichhane said he, as a noncitizen, has nothing left to say.

However, he said he would welcome the SC’s decision.

Lamichhane was in the Ministry of Home Affairs when the Supreme Court gave the verdict that his post of the Member of Parliament was revoked.

“I welcome and accept the SC’s decision,” he said.

Lamichhane told journalists, “Why are you asking a question with a non-citizen?”

He said he has absolutely no idea what his status was and what his future move would be.

He added that he no longer was the Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party.
