Car accident claims two lives as pedestrians struck down in Pokhara



KATHMANDU: In a tragic incident last night, a car collision in Pokhara resulted in the loss of two lives as it struck down pedestrians.

The fatal accident occurred at Parshyang, Pokhara Metropolitan City-5.

The victims have been identified as 20-year-old Dhalendra Chantyal from Dhorpatan Municipality-6 and an unidentified man, approximately 35 years old, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.

Despite efforts at Paschim Anchal Regional Hospital, both individuals succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.

The driver of the vehicle, bearing registration number Ba 13 Cha 3721, is reported to have fled the scene after the collision. The District Police Office, Kaski, is actively investigating the incident, while efforts are underway to confirm the identity of the second victim.
