KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that Udhauli, a great festival of the Kirant community, has helped to highlight the interdependent relationship between human life and nature.

In a message today on the occasion of Udhauli festival, President Paudel has expressed his belief that this festival of the Kirant community will enhance mutual harmony among all ethnic groups in Nepal and help maintain family, community and social unity.

He mentioned that festivals like Udhauli play an important role in maintaining national unity and common Nepalese identity.

“Festivals like Udhauli have played an important role in maintaining social harmony, national unity and common Nepali identity,” President.

President Paudel has said while extending greetings to all the Nepali sisters and brothers who are at home and abroad on the occasion of Udhauli.
