MFD predicts heavy rainfall in five provinces



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning in five provinces of the country today.

Rainfall is likely in provinces including Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

According to the Division, the weather across the country will be partly to generally cloudy on Wednesday.

Additionally, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some areas of Karnali Province and Bagmati Province.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy nationwide, with light to moderate rain and chances of thunder and lightning in a few hilly regions and at one or two locations in the rest of the country.

Furthermore, the Division has also predicted heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places within Koshi Province, Lumbini Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.
