Prime Minister Dahal’s Doha visit canceled



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s Doha visit has been canceled.

The Prime Minister was scheduled to go to Qatar on March 3 to participate in the fifth conference of Least Developed Countries.

PM Prachanda’s press coordinator Suriya Kkiran Sharma said that the visit was canceled due to the political situation in the country, including the presidential election.

On his first foreign visit after becoming the Prime Minister Dahal was scheduled to leave for Doha, Qatar to participate in the Fifth Conference of the Least Developed Countries.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha will represent PM Dahal in the conference, sources claimed.
