RSP holding central committee meeting

To discuss the party’s position on Presidential election

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a meeting of its central committee to finalize its position on presidential election.

The meeting to be held on Monday will decide about the party’s formal position on the presidential election.

“So far, the party is not clear whether to support Nepali Congress’ candidate Ram Chandra Poudel or CPN-UML candidate Subash Chandra Nemwang,” a leader said.

It should be noted that NC presidential candidate Ram Chandra Poudel met with RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and urged him to vote for him.

However, the RSP leaders were not invited to the meeting of the political parties at Baluwatar on Friday.
