RPP quits government in Bagmati Province



HETAUDA: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), one of the partners of the coalition government, has quit the Bagmati Province Government.

Minister for Drinking Water, Energy and Irrigation Uddhab Thapa and other ministers of the Bagmati Province Government from RPP submitted their resignation to Chief Minister Shalikram Jamakattel.

Thapa said that the resignation comes as per the party’s decision. RPP’s Thapa, Minister for Tourism, Industry and Cooperative Dambar Bahadur Tamang and Minister for Forest and Environment Raju Bista also submitted their resignation to the Chief Minister.
