Top leaders of major parties convene at Baluwatar for discussion on TRC and other bills



KATHMANDU: The Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar hosts a gathering of key leaders from three major political parties.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussions on the Act concerning the Commission on Investigation of Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation (TRC), and the pending tasks of the peace process.

Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, and representatives from the second-tier leadership of the respective parties, are participating in the meeting, as confirmed by the PM’s Secretariat.
