Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha returns home from China



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha has returned home on Wednesday.

He was on a visit to the People’s Republic of China and returned home today after undergoing treatment in Beijing, the capital of China, after suffering a heart attack there.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha suffered a heart attack after participating in the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) held in Beijing on October 17 and 18.

He was treated for five days at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing.
