CPN-UML holding Gandaki Province Convention on October 2 and 3



POKHARA: The CPN-UML is gearing up to hold its inaugural Gandaki Province convention, scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd in Pokhara.

Dhananjay Dawadi, Secretary of the UML Gandaki Provincial Committee, stated that the process of selecting representatives is currently underway across all 85 municipalities within the province.

In the event that consensus cannot be reached, representatives will be elected through a voting process.

Secretary Dawadi said, “More than 900 representatives are set to participate in the convention, and concerted efforts are being made to facilitate consensus in the selection of these representatives. Simultaneously, we are diligently working on various administrative preparations.”

Furthermore, it has been revealed that four central members have already submitted their nominations to participate as representatives in the state convention.
