PM Dahal holding talks with his Chinese counterpart, Li, today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is holding delegation-level discussions with his Chinese counterpart, Li Qiang, in Beijing, China today.

This meeting will be followed by the signing of several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding.

PM Dahal, who is currently on an official visit to China, also has a scheduled meeting with Zhou Li, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the National People’s Congress.

Meanwhile, on Sunday evening, the Nepali Embassy in Beijing hosted a reception dinner in honor of Prime Minister Dahal.

Furthermore, a ceremony organized by the Nepali Ambassador to China, Bishnupukar Shrestha, was attended by various dignitaries.

Notable attendees at the reception included Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud, Minister for Water Supply Mahindra Yadav, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala, along with Secretaries, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, Nepali nationals in China, and members of the Chinese community.

Ambassador Shrestha emphasized the embassy’s commitment to strengthening the enduring relationship between Nepal and China.
