CM Chaudhary emphasizes youth entrepreneurship for economic reforms



LUMBINI: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary has stressed the need for youth entrepreneurship to foster economic reform.

Job opportunities should be created within the country to stop the young workforce from going to foreign countries, he said while inaugurating the JCI Region ‘D’ conference organized at Tilottama on Friday. It was organized by the JCI Nepal.

Stating that the provincial government had brought a program to create 200,000 employment opportunities for the youths in the province, he urged JCI Nepal to provide assistance for it.
He also urged youths to fulfill their responsibility of shaping the future of the country.

On the occasion, the JCI Nepal President Bikash Manandhar said the organization was working on the leadership development of youths reasoning that youths between 18 to 40 age group are associated with the JCI.

Saying that time had come for youth to take the leadership of the country, Tilottama Municipality Mayor Ram Krishna Khand urged the youths to be ready for it.

In the two-day conference, working papers on various subjects will be presented and panel discussions held, said the JCI Nepal, Tilottama President Prakash Gautam.

Around 500 representatives from 58 JCI chapters from Gaidakot to Mahendranagar under the JCI Region ‘D’ are participating in the event.
