Two arrested for investigations on death of senior sub-inspector



BAGLUNG: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons for investigation in regard to the passing of a senior sub-inspector of Nepal Police in a hotel in Baglung district.

Senior sub-inspector Ujjwal Poudel, in charge of the Area Police Office at Bhimgithe in Badigad, was found dead in a hotel.

Hotelier Asha Kunwar and her son Binod were held for investigation purposes, Chief of Baglung District Police Office SP Yogendra Kumar Khadka shared.

A team of police personnel deployed at the Khar area of Badigad Rural Municipality nabbed the two stating that the incident was suspicious.

Likewise, preparations are ongoing to bring the dead body of a senior sub-inspector for a postmortem.

Poudel was found dead in the hotel last night.
