Tinau River in Rupandehi crosses danger level

RUPANDEHI: The Tinau River in Rupandehi has surged past the high danger level as incessant rain continues to pour since Tuesday morning.

The heavy rainfall in the hilly district of Palpa has caused a significant rise in the water level of the Tinau River.

The Flood Measuring Center of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the Tinau River’s water level has already surpassed the danger level and is still rising.

Due to the imminent risk of further rise in the river’s water level, residents living in the riverside areas have been urged to take necessary precautions and ensure their safety.

Additionally, the continuous downpour has resulted in the inundation of Badchha village in Sainamaina.
