Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League: Friends beat Satdobato, Manang and Church Boys share points



KATHMANDU: Friends Club, which is in danger of relegation in Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League football, defeated Satdobato Youth Club, which is considered a contender for the title on Thursday.

Friends beat Satdobato 4-0 in the match played at Dasharath Stadium, Tripurshwor. In the victory of Friends, Torik Zebrin scored two goals and Rafiq Aminu and Prakash Budhathoki scored one goal each. Satdobato is in fourth place with 29 points and Friends is in 12th place with 24 points.

In another match, Manang Marsyangdi Club and Church Boys United played a goalless draw at the Chysal Ground, Lalitpur.

Manang and Church Boys played a goalless draw. Church Boys remain at the top with 38 points. Manang is still in 11th place with 25 points.

The bottom two teams of the 14-team league will be relegated to the ‘B’ division.
