Martyr’s Memorial A Division League: Friends Club beat NRT on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Friends Club Kopundole got an easy victory over New Road Team in Martyr’s Memorial A Division League Football undergoing in the Capital.

Friends defeated NRT by 3-1 in today’s match played at Dasharath Stadium.

In the 14th minute, Rafiq Aminu gave Friends an early lead.

In the 41st minute, Sanjib Bisht scored and brought NRT to a 1-1 draw.

In the injury time of the first half, Torik Zebrin scored to give Friends a 2-1 lead.

Then in the 76th minute, captain Prakash Budhathoki scored a goal to give Friends a 3-1 win.

This is Friends’ fourth win in the ongoing league.

Friends have scored 14 points in 12 games.

NRT has collected 13 points in 12 games.
