RPP holding emergency meeting to decide future course of action

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is holding an emergency meeting of its Parliamentary Party to decide its future course of action.

RPP General Minister Sharadraj Pathak said that the meeting will discuss the changed political developments.

The party called the meeting a day after a meeting of eight political parties decided to support the Nepali Congress candidate for the presidency.

All other parties, except CPN-UML, RPP and Rastriya Swatantra Party, which were in the ruling coalition, have been included in the new coalition.

According to sources, today’s meeting is likely to decide whether the party would remain in the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda-led government or not.
