NC to finalize its presidential candidate today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its central execution committee to finalize the name of the presidential candidate.

Party insiders said that NC will finalize the name of the presidential candidate on Saturday (February 25) — the day to file nominations for the presidential election.

A meeting of the party’s central executive committee to be held on Saturday morning will finalize the name of the presidential candidate.

NC Senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel is likely to be nominated as the candidate for the post of President.

The presidential election will be held on March 9.
