KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today attended a briefing about commissions, departments and offices under the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

National Planning Commission secretary Kewal Bhandari, National Vigilance Centre secretary Rabindra Nath Shrestha, Public Procurement Monitoring Office secretary Madhusudan Burlakoti, Investment Board chief executive officer Sushil Bhatta, National Investigations Department’s chief investigation officer Hut Raj Thapa, Department of Revenue Investigation director general Madan Dahal and Money Laundering Investigation Department director general Taranath Adhikari gave their presentations before the Prime Minister.

The chiefs from the respective offices briefed the Prime Minister about office polices, mandates, progress status, plans, challenges and measures required to be taken ahead.

The Prime Minister will receive a briefing of remaining offices next day and give his instructional speech.
