Prem Prasad’s death portends state’s extreme failure: Mayor Balen

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan Mayor Balen Shah has said that the self-immolation of Prem Prasad Acharya signifies the state’s “extreme failure”.

After the death of Acharya during the treatment, Mayor Shah, writing a status on social media, alleged that the state’s irresponsibility was the cause of the death.

Shah has alleged those in the power of trying to destabilize politics for their own interests rather than making all the equations work for progress.
