KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader and suspended lawmaker Laxmi Mahato Koiree’s suspension from the post has been released.
He was accused of the murder of Armed Police Force Assitant Sub-Inspector Thaman BK during the Madhes Movement.
After the court’s order to send the case for trial, Koiree, who had won the House of Representatives Member election from Mahottari Constituency Number 1, was absconding.
Following the court’s decision to send him a summons in a criminal case, he was under suspension from his parliamentary position.
