Stock market witnesses 21-point decline on first trading day of the week



KATHMANDU: The stock market experienced a significant downturn on Sunday, marking a decline of 21.05 points during the first trading day of the current week.

The market concluded at 2088.07 points, with a substantial turnover of 7 billion 11 crore 17 lakh 33 thousand 829 rupees, involving the buying and selling of 1 crore 85 lakh 89 thousand 379 shares across 309 companies.

Amid the trading activities, 79 companies observed an increase in their share prices, while 161 companies faced a decrease.

Additionally, 6 companies maintained stability in their stock prices on this eventful trading day.
