Parliamentary committee calls for complaints against six SC justice nominees



KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has summoned complaints against the six justices recommended for the Supreme Court (SC). 

The Judicial Council, in a meeting held on November 21, had decided to recommend the names of six justices for the Supreme Court. Subsequently, the Parliamentary Hearing Committee, in a meeting held at Singha Durbar on Friday , has summoned complaints pertaining to the recommended justices.

The recommended justices include Sharanga Subedi, Abdhul Ajij Musalman, Mahesh Sharma Poudel, Tek Prasad Dhungana, Sunil Kumar Pokharel, and Bal Krishna Dhakal. 

Interested parties with grievances are invited to submit their complaints within a 10-day period from the publication of the notice, as stated by Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana, the committee’s Chairman.
