KATHMANDU: The 55th Asian Bodybuilding and Physics Sports Championship is going to be held in Kathmandu under the auspices of Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.
Athletes from 25 countries in Asia will participate in the competition, which will be held from coming September 1 to 7, said Rajeshbabu Shrestha, the president of the federation.
This is the first time ever that the Asian level championship is going to be held in Nepal.
The event will be held at the Yak and Yeti Hotel, Durbarmarg and there will be 45 competitions in 28 categories for men, 16 for women and one for mixed category.
