KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is currently on a visit to Italy, is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Bangladeshi counterpart, Sheikh Hasina, on Monday.
The meeting has been aimed at strengthening the ties between the two countries.
During his stay in Italy, Prime Minister Dahal also has important engagements lined up.
He is scheduled to meet with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for a bilateral discussion, focusing on matters of mutual interest and cooperation.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Dahal is set to have separate meetings with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Executive Director of the World Food Program (WFP), and the President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (ADIF) program.
These interactions are aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration and support in the field of agriculture and food security.
In addition to his official engagements, on Tuesday, the Prime Minister will take the opportunity to connect with the Nepalese community residing in Italy.
The program, organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Italy, will allow him to interact with the diaspora and discuss their concerns and contributions to Nepal.
