Lumbini Chief Minister Giri taking vote of confidence today



LUMBINI: Lumbini Chief Minister Leela Giri is taking vote of confidence today.

A meeting of the Province Assembly has been called at 11 am today to take the vote of confidence.

Chief Minister Giri is taking the vote of confidence again after the Maoist Center and other parties withdrew their support to the CM Giri-led government.

If any political party participating in the government withdraws its support, there is a provision for the Chief Minister to take a vote of confidence within 30 days.

Out of the total of 87 members in the Lumbini Province Assembly, 44 votes are required for a majority.
