The meeting is scheduled to pick the names of the parliamentarians to preside over the meeting in the absence of Speaker Devraj Ghimire.
Likewise, Members of the Parliament (MPs) are also scheduled to congratulate the newly-elected Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
Similarly, a meeting of the National Assembly (NA) is also taking place today.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is scheduled to address the Upper House today.
Similarly, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shishir Khanal, is presenting a proposal to the NA meeting to consider the Nepal University Bill, 2079 BS.
