PM Dahal pledges uninterrupted nationwide power supply in current term

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his commitment to ensuring uninterrupted power supply across the country during his current term as Prime Minister.

He highlighted the successful end of power cuts in the Kathmandu Valley during his second premiership.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Budhanilkantha municipal conference of the CPN (Maoist Centre), PM Prachanda emphasized that Maoist-led governments have consistently worked for the welfare of the people. He identified the ongoing nationwide illumination campaign as a continuation of this effort.

“The steps taken for the country’s prosperity, especially the end of power cuts in the Kathmandu Valley during my second term, demonstrate our commitment to serving the people,” stated the Prime Minister.

Prachanda argued that many strategic initiatives for the country’s progress have been undertaken during his leadership as Prime Minister three times, but the credit for these achievements often goes unrecognized.
