Former Cricketer Paras Khadka elected as CAN Secretary



KATHMANDU: Former cricketer Paras Khadka has been elected as the Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

Paras was elected after defeating the outgoing acting Secretary Prashant Bikram Malla in the voting held on Saturday.

When 75 votes were counted out of a total of 85 voters, Paras got the required 43 votes for victory. Paras got 43 votes while Prashant got 32 votes. However, the official announcement of the results is yet to be made.

Paras is also the President of the Bagmati Province Cricket Association.

Other officials of CAN, Chatur Bahadur Chand, Vice President Roshan Kumar Singh, and Treasurer Padma Bahadur Khadka have been elected unopposed.
