Khati appointed NC central election committee coordinator



KATHMANDU: Advocate Khamma Bahadur Khati has been appointed the coordinator of the Nepal Congress central election committee.

NC central President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed Khati to the post.

Khati, the former Attorney General, has already served as a committee member.

The post turned vacant after erstwhile coordinator and senior advocate Gopal Krishna Ghimire was elected the chairperson of the Nepal Bar Association.

NC central office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel confirmed the appointment of Khati to this position.
