NEPSE goes green with monetary policy, rises by 63.24 points on Sunday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has gone green on Sunday giving the welcome token to the newly introduced Monetary Policy 2023/24.

The stock market rose by 63.24 points on Sunday, the day Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) announced its monetary policy.

The NEPSE index, which increased by 2.92 percent, reached 2227.16 points.

Bank, development bank, and business sub-indices increased today.

12 million 2 thousand 308 shares were bought and sold through 75 thousand 86 transactions of 266 securities on Sunday.

From this, there has been a transaction worth 4.37 billion rupees.
