Oli is trying to topple PM Dahal’s government and make Deuba Prime Minister: Madhav Nepal

KATHMANDU: CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli is trying to topple the incumbent government.

At a book release event held in Kathmandu on Friday, former Prime Minister Nepal accused the UML of manipulating the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to make Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba the Prime Minister.

“The large party (UML) did not want to unite the socialist forces. You may have read in today’s newspaper what he still wants. KP Oli is saying that he is ready to support NC from the government,” Nepal said.

He said that it is ironic that the leader of the Communist Party is trying to topple the Communist government and make Nepali Congress the Prime Minister.

Leader Nepal urged other parties to join the Samajwadi Front.
