KATHMANDU: In a bid to finalize the expansion of the cabinet, leaders of the 10-party coalition are holding a meeting today as well.

A meeting held on Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar ended inconclusively.

According to Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak, today’s meeting will continue the discussion on cabinet expansion and power sharing, among other issues.

He said that the meeting held on Wednesday ended positively and they will sit on Thursday and take further decisions.

“There was a discussion, particularly on cabinet expansion. The discussion has been positive,” Lekhak said, adding, “We will continue to meet and make a decision at the earliest.”

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has been saying that he will expand the Council of Ministers by April 24.
