Nepali Congress holding office bearers’ meeting

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the party’s office bearers this morning.

The meeting to be held at NC President Deuba’s residence in Dhumbarahi will discuss the current political developments, among other issues.

The party is also likely to discuss giving full shape to its sister organizations, including the Nepal Student’s Union.

Similarly, NC President Deuba is also likely to discuss the agenda for the party’s upcoming Central Committee meeting.

The Congress Central Committee meeting is being held on January 29.

It should be noted that the faction led by NC leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala held a meeting in Battisputli on Sunday and criticized President Deuba for not being able to work in the interest of the party.
