Sri Lankan Foreign Minister calls on President Paudel



KATHMANDU: Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mohammad Uvais Mohammad Ali Sabry held discussions with Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Paudel at Rastrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas today.

During the meeting, President Poudel reminisced about Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s declaration that Lumbini would become a global cultural destination, stressing the need to fortify and broaden cultural relations between Nepal and Sri Lanka.

In response, Foreign Minister Sabry expressed his commitment to intensify cultural ties between the two nations and underscored the importance of fostering economic collaboration.
