Finance Ministry allocates Rs 10 million for families of Nepali nationals killed in Israel-Hamas conflict

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Finance has disbursed Rs 10 million in total to support the families of Nepali nationals who lost their lives in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Each of the 10 affected families will receive Rs 1 million as compensation for the tragic loss. The decision to provide this financial aid was made during a cabinet meeting on October 9, and the Finance Ministry promptly carried out the allocation.

The recipients of this compensation are the families of the following individuals, who were among those killed in an attack by Hamas in Israel:

  1. Narayan Prasad Neupane of Godagodi-4, Kailali
  2. Ganesh Kumar Nepali of Jay Prithvi-6, Bhajang
  3. Ashish Chaudary of Bauniya-3, Kailali
  4. Dipesh Raj Bista of Lekam-5, Darchula
  5. Ananda Shah of Sipahi-6, Dhansha
  6. Rajesh Kumar Swarnakar of Madhuban-1, Sunsari
  7. Rajan Phulara of Pachanli-3, Doti
  8. Padam Thapa of Lamikhala-8, Doti
  9. Pravesh Bhandari of Sharada-3, Salyan
  10. Lokendra Singh Dhami of Malikarjun-4, Darchula

The amount will be distributed to the families through the respective District Administration Offices, ensuring that they receive the financial support intended to ease the hardships caused by this unfortunate incident.
