Earthquake jolts Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude shook the Kathmandu Valley during the early hours this morning.

The seismic disturbance occurred precisely at 7:39 a.m. with Dhading as the epicenter, causing tremors throughout the region.

On Sunday morning, tremors were felt in districts, including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, Kavrepalanchowk, and Chitwan, among others.

Recently, Bajhang has been experiencing frequent earthquakes.
