KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has predicted partial showers in the hilly areas of the country due to the partial effect of western winds on the weather.
A bulletin issued by the Division forecasts cloudy conditions in some parts of the hilly areas, while the weather is expected to remain generally clear in other regions.
As per the bulletin, there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder or lightning in selected locations within the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces today.
Additionally, the bulletin indicates a chance of light snowfall in a couple of spots in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the same provinces.
The forecast suggests relatively clear weather in the remaining parts of the country, with anticipated minor changes in the hilly areas during the night.
Moreover, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in a few locations within the high hills and Himalayan areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces.
