NC holding CWC meeting even today



KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting today as well.

Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel stated that the meeting will take place at the party’s central office in Sanepa and will cover various topics including current political developments, the party’s internal structure, and the government’s performance.

Today’s CWC meeting will play a role in determining the agenda for the upcoming “Mahasamiti Committee” meeting, scheduled for the last week of November.

Meanwhile, on Thursday’s meeting, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba nominated eight leaders as members of the Central Working Committee.

The newly appointed central members were Man Bahadur Bishwakarma (Arghakhanchi), Arjun Prasad Joshi (Parbat), Dr. Chandra Bhandari (Gulmi), Shiva Prasad Humagain (Kavrepalanchowk), Kiranraj Sharma Paudel (Baglung), Bharat Kumar Shah (Rupandehi), Sharda Paudel (Kaski), and Anil Kumar Rungata (Parsa).
