PM Dahal and Biplav hold talks over party unification



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Netra Bikram Chand “Biplav” held a meeting on Thursday morning.

According to Ganga Dahal, the daughter of PM Dahal, the meeting took place between PM Dahal and Biplav at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.

The two held a “serious discussion” about making the Samajwadi Morcha (Socialist Front) effective, protecting the achievements of the Maoist movement, and unification between the two parties.

“A serious discussion about how to make the Samajwadi Morcha and protect the achievements of the Maoist movement and party unity,” Ganga wrote on social media.

A Samajwadi Morcha (Socialist Front) was announced on Monday.

Maoist Center, Unified Socialist, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Biplav-led CPN are in the Morcha.
