Govt. committed to establish professional rights of entrepreneurs: PM Dahal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the government was committed to establishing the professional rights of entrepreneurs. During a meeting today with a delegation led by President of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Manik Ratna Shakya, he urged the entrepreneurs to carry out business in a professional manner.

Police submit investigation report on Fake Bhutanese Refugee case

The police have submitted their report on the Fake Bhutanese Refugee case to the district attorney’s office, in Kathmandu, on Monday, after a two-month-long investigation. Chief Public Prosecutor Achyut Mani Neupane informed that the report was submitted by District Police Range, Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.

Elephant dies in Jhapa

A female elephant has been found dead in Adarsha Community Forest at Charchabari in Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-3, Jhapa. The local residents informed the police after noticing the dead elephant this morning.

Culture Ministry seeks clarification from Lubmini Development Trust

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation sought a 13-point clarification to the Lumbini Development Trust. The Ministry has given the deadline of 15 days on 13 different issues to the Trust’s Vice-Chairperson to furnish clarification on the allegations of misuse of power, arbitrary contract deal with the construction company, embezzlement of fund for tender issuance and poor mobilization of donations received from donors.
