Nepal has a winning start in CAVA Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup

KATHMANDU: Nepal has made a winning start in the ‘CAVA Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup ‘ tournament which started in the capital on Monday.

Nepal defeated Kyrgyzstan in straight sets 3-0 in its first match today at National Sports Council’s Covered Hall in Tripureshwor. The first set was won 25-11.

In the second set, Kyrgyzstan tried to increase the pressure on the Nepali team, but it was easily dismissed. In the second set, Nepal won 25-19.

There was no competition in the third set. Nepal easily managed to beat the score in the first set.

With the win, Nepal has taken 3 points in Group A.
