JSP elects Upendra Yadav as PP leader



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has elected its Chairman Upendra Yadav as the leader of the parliamentary party (PP).

According to JSP sources, the PP meeting held at Singha Durbar on Monday elected Yadav its leader unanimously.

After Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav was elected as the Vice President, the post of leader of the JSP parliamentary party was vacant.

Upendra Yadav was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Bara-2 in the by-election held on April 23.

Before that, Yadav was defeated by Janamat Party Chair CK Raut in Saptari-2 in the elections held in November.
