KATHMANDU: Janamat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut has accused Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal of preparing to loot booths in the by-elections scheduled to be held on Sunday, April 23.

Writing a status on social media Facebook, Dr. Raut has also requested media persons to come to the booth for monitoring.

Referring to the fact that booths near the Nepal-India border often get looted even during broad daylight, the Janamat Party Chair has pointed out the risk of recurring such activities in the byelections.

“Especially the booths near the Nepal-India border are looted day in and day out. Those villages are still under evil spells, the police administration has been organized by JSP leaders, they are ready for fake voting conniving with the election officials,” he wrote.

Dr. Raut has requested the government to mobilize the army in the polling stations and other vulnerable spaces.
