One more dies in Gulmi forest fire



TAMGHAS, GULMI: One more person who was burnt while extinguishing the fire in the forest of Gulmi has died.

According to DSP Dilli Narayan Pandey, 55-year-old Dhan Bahadur Jogi Kunwar of Dhurkot rural municipality ward number-3, Gulmi, who was injured while extinguishing the fire, died while undergoing treatment.

Kunwar was seriously injured while trying to put out a fire in the forest of Hadhade Bardwas of Dhurkot rural municipality, ward number-3 on Thursday.
DSP Pandey said that he died on the way to Kathmandu for further treatment after treatment was not possible in Gulmi, Palpa, and Butwal.

Earlier, 13-year-old Deepak Mukhiya of Dhurkot Rural Municipality Ward No.-3, who was injured while extinguishing the fire in the same forest, had died during the treatment on Friday.
