No excuse to turn back, must make efforts for development:  President Paudel



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that the contribution of all was necessary for developing the country, as we have no excuse to turn back.

In a meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Contractors Association of Nepal, President Paudel said that Nepal has great potential for development which should be materialized with everyone working together for it.

Making it clear that he is aware of the problems facing the construction entrepreneurs of the country, he said that the responsibility of building the nation also rests on the shoulders of construction entrepreneurs.

On the occasion, FCAN President Ravi Singh drew the attention of President Paudel to the many problems facing the construction industry, including the failure of the state to pay the contractors on time.

Singh, who is also the president of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors Association, invited President Paudel for the inauguration of the 46th IFAPCA conference to be held in Kathmandu in November later this year.

Along with Singh the FCAN delegation comprised advisors Yakshadhwaj Karki, Jairam Lamichhane, Birendraraj Pandey, outgoing president Bishnubhai Shrestha, senior vice president Ang Dorjee Lama, vice presidents Ramji Pant and Balkrishna Thapa, among others.
