Nepal records no new coronavirus case in 24 hours, active cases 14

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded no new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,387 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them 557 swabs were tested through RT-PCR method and 830 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 14 active cases in the country as one infected patient recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
