DANG: Maoist Centre is likely to withdraw its support given to the Lumbini Province government led by Chief Minister Leela Giri today.

Maoist Chairman of Lumbini State, Sudarshan Baral said that his party may withdraw support given to CM Giri on Wednesday.

The decision to this effect will be taken by a meeting of the parliamentary party (PP) to be held today.

“It’s most likely that we will withdraw our support given to Chief Minister Giri today,” he said.

Chief Minister Giri then will have to take a vote of confidence within 30 days if the Maoists withdrew their support.
